There's A Face
There's a face.
There's a face in my head.
In my mind there are cobwebs of grey
And lightnings and rain.
My soul I can feel as my heart starts to stop.
I
sit at my window and smile at the rain that's outside.
As it thunders and crashes,
The wind blows my worries away.
The grass turns a deeper shade
As the old oak's swing starts to sway.
There's a light from above,
Yet the clouds are still the darkest grey.
The light soars down and enters my mind through my eyes.
There's a flash and everything fades to....
I can breathe.
I can think when it rains.
I can feel a presence in my head.
My troubled mind.
My distant thoughts.
They can sense
why I need this.
I don't know why,
But I know that they love me for who I am.
I feel them inside of me, my heart falters.
There's a face.
There's a face in my head.
In my mind there are shades of grey
A clear silver moon.
My soul I can feel as my heart starts to stop.
There's a face in my head.
In my mind there are cobwebs of grey

My soul I can feel as my heart starts to stop.
